¡¡¡¡洛社镇是一个具有1600余年历史的江南名镇，是无锡市西侧的卫星城、经济强镇，素有"小无锡"之称。洛社正好处在长江三角洲中心，沪宁铁路、新长铁路在这里接轨，京杭大运河、锡澄运河、直湖港和锡溧运河在这里交汇，312国道、锡宜高速穿境而过。通过相互贯通的高速公路至上海、南京、杭州市区及国际机场车程均在2－3小时以内。
Luoshe Town is a famous town in the south of Yangtze River with a history of more than 1600 years. It is a satellite town in the west of Wuxi with strong economic strength. It is also called Little Wuxi.
Luoshe Town is right in the center of Yangtze River Delta. Huning Railway (Shanghai-Nanjing) and Xinchang Railway are encountered in Luoshe Town, while the Great Canal (Beijing-Hangzhou), Xicheng Canal (Wuxi-Jiangyin), Zhihu Canal (directly connected to Tai Lake) and Xili Canal (Wuxi-Liyang) are also met here with No.312 National Mainline and Xiyi Expressway (Wuxi-Yixing) running along the town. Through convenient expressway network, the distance between Luoshe Town and the downtowns of Shanghai, Nanjing and Hangzhou and relevant international airports are all within 2-3 hours' ride.
¡¡¡¡洛社镇总面积93.45平方公里，常住人口11.5万人，曾先后荣获"中国乡镇之星"、"首届中国投资环境500强"、"全国乡镇综合经济实力500强"等称号。2005年全镇完成工业销售收入170亿元，地区生产总值60.7亿元，财政收入6.6亿元，协议注册外资2亿美元，到位注册外资5041万美元，外贸自营出口9195万美元。
The total area of Luoshe Town is 93.45 square kms with the residential population of 115,000. Luoshe Town has gained many honors, such as the Star of China's Township Economy, one of Top 500 Towns most suitable for investments and one of Top 500 Towns in comprehensive economic strength. In 2005, the industrial sales volume is RMB 17 billion, GDP is RMB 6.07 billion, financial income is RMB 0.66 billion, registered foreign investment under contract is $ 0.2 billion, realized foreign investment is $ 50.41 million and foreign import-export volume is $ 91.95 million.
